Reverend Father Nicholas Brown

Reverend Father Nicholas Brown was born in Wanganui New Zealand on 6 December 1972. Moving to Australia with his mother in 1975, Father completed his schooling in Brisbane and converted at the age of 15 on 6 December 1987. In February of 1994 Father Nicholas graduated with a Bachelor of Theology from St Andrew’s Greek Orthodox Theological College and the Sydney College of Divinity in 1999. He was ordained as a deacon by His Eminence Archbishop Stylianos on 15 October 2006, and then ordained to the priesthood on 27 January 2007. He is Parish Priest at the Dormition of Our Lady, and together with Deacon Panayioti Simos he serves the needs of the faithful on Brisbane’s Southside. Father Nicholas and Presvytera Maria have three boys.​
